Community Invited to Participate in Superintendent Search Process
The Oregon School District Board of Education is in the process of conducting a nationwide search for the new Oregon School District Superintendent and invites our community to be part of the process! The new Superintendent will begin on July 1, 2026 following Dr. Bergstrom's planned retirement at the conclusion of this school year (June 30, 2026).
The Board has hired McPherson & Jacobson, LLC to facilitate the search process. Dr. Dennis Pauli, former superintendent of the Edgerton School District, will be the McPherson & Jacobson lead facilitator of the search process. A very important part of the search process includes gathering feedback from staff, students, and our community.
Community Sessions
McPherson & Jacobson will be holding three sessions for community members to share feedback on essential qualities of our next superintendent. All families and Oregon School District community members are invited to attend these sessions:
- Mon., Nov. 3, 6:30-7:30 p.m. (virtual): virtual meeting link
- Tues., Nov. 4, 10:30-11:30 a.m. (in-person): Oregon Public Library
- Tues., Nov. 4. 6:30-7:30 p.m. (in-person): Oregon High School Innovation Center
If you are not able to attend one of these sessions, you may share feedback via an online survey, which will be open through Tuesday, November 4.
